(Not) Chinese Food

7:25 a.m. / 07:25

How do the Chinese buffet restaurants all know to serve the same things that are clearly not actually Chinese? I always eat these little corn nuggets that are like tater tots, only corn, and of course the sugar-coated things I call Chinese donuts. They have them at nearly every Chinese buffet I've been to in my city, but they're some of the least Chinese-like things there. I've never seen them anywere else, though, so how do they all know to find these things and serve them?

Comments:
I think it's a Zen trick.

well, why aren't any of the chinese restaurants here run by chinese people? almost all of them are korean or vietnamese.
