100 Things (Part Nine)

9:15 a.m. / 09:15

85. I do most things at the last minute.
86. I enjoy having breakfast foods like scrambled eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc. for dinner.
87. Since I'm part Irish and have an Irish last name I consider it a right to be allowed to wear St. Patrick's Day shirts, etc. at any time of year without ridicule.
88. I sometimes daydream about training my cats to do some of the housework.
89. I'm kind of excited about the Chevy Volt.
90. I'm not really a dog person, but I get along alright with some individual dogs.
91. I have never been arrested.
92. I was once thrown out of a bar sober.
93. I have imagined staging a rain protest with waterproof signs and chanting of RAIN RAIN, GO AWAY! COME AGAIN SOME OTHER DAY!
94. I have taken part in real protests.
95. I wonder if I will start doing crossword puzzles when I reach middle age.
96. Words fascinate me.
97. I've had my hair cut for Locks of Love twice, but I haven't remembered to mail in the hair from the last time.
98. I'm not a big fan of glitter.
99. I keep a calculator in my purse. At one time it was a rather large calculator and people teased me.

Update On The Little Terrorist

8:40 a.m. / 08:40

Fizzgig has been out of quarantine for a couple of weeks now! He seems to be doing well.... sometimes too well. He and Mabel are getting along alright, but I haven't seen them curl up for a nap together yet.

100 Things (Part Eight)

10:18 p.m. / 22:18

72. I'm a sucker for office supplies, especially pens, pencils and markers.
73. I love cats but hate most "cat-people" stuff like kitten calendars.
74. I have two cats, Mabel and Fizzgig. That's probably obvious from other posts.
75. I more or less know all of the words to One Tin Soldier.
76. I used to know all of the words to the Anamaniacs theme song and I still know a lot of them.
77. I used to sing the national anthem in the shower all the time. I more or less grew out of that in college when I had roommates.
78. I hated shopping for clothes and shoes until sometime in college.
79. I can't pick favorite movies anymore than I can pick favorite authors, but some I might name are Dead Poets Society, The Breakfast Club, The American President, Norma Rae, While You Were Sleeping and Iron Jawed Angels.
80. I'm not sure if Georgia O'Keefe is my favorite artist, but I must like her since I have posters of three of her paintings framed in my house.
81. I have artwork made by several friends and family members in my house.
82. I went to Catholic school kindergarten through eighth grade and then went to public high school.
83. There were some really good things about going to Catholic school, but overall it wasn't very pleasant.
84. Breakfast cereal plays too large a role in my diet... so does macaroni and cheese.
