Pictures As Promised

1:10 a.m. / 01:10

As you can probably guess from the pictures below, my crochet skills are currently limited to the granny square. It all started with the blanket in the first picture. It was a group project at work; a gift for a co-worker who just earned her master's degree. I made two squares for it, and had enough fun that I began my own projects.

This giant granny square is already pretty big, but I have to go around it about ten more times to be done!

I started making these smaller squares and experimenting with putting them together while I waited for payday to arrive so I could buy more yarn for the giant granny square.

If anyone is curious, the giant granny square is being made from Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick 'n Quick and the smaller green and brown squares are being made from Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky.

Oooh, the group gift turned out pretty! Did the recipient like it?

I really like your giant granny square, and the little green ones. But the giant one is just cool. Wool Ease thick & quick is my very favorite yarn of all.

Yes, the recipient liked it very much.

Mmmm. . .yarn.

TAG! You're it!
I'm tagging you for a meme, see my blog for details :)
