My Expensive Habit

11:45 p.m. / 23:45

Back in August, I took an inventory of my novel collection (to see exactly how many of them I have and how many of them I've actually read) and posted the results here. Today I repeated this project. Here are the results:

August 2006
226 total novels
120 read novels (53% read)

February 2007
245 total novels
138 read novels (56% read)

Oh well, its healthier than smoking. . .and yay your percentage read has gone up! *highfive*

*highfive* in return!

If you think of it this way...you bought 19 novels and read 18. A very good ratio, don'tcha think?

That's really cool. You inspired me to look into that librarything and take inventory of my book collection, too. If it makes you feel any better, I'm worse off with the whole, books owned to books read ratio. So much for being a lit teacher.
