Birthday, Continued

I had lunch with a friend at Fazoli's today, and then did some shopping at Plato's Closet-- all good fun. I got a "happy birthday" phone message from another friend a couple of hours ago.
I just returned home from Barnes & Noble, where of course I did damage to my checking account, in spite of the $10.00 gift card I had. I picked up High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers and Inkheart by Cornelia Funke.
